Placement Sander Renes: University of Mannheim

PhD student Sander Renes has accepted a position as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim in Germany. Sander will work on the SFB project “Political Economy of Reforms” with Professor Hans Peter Grüner.

Sander is a PhD candidate (2009) in economics at the Erasmus School of Economics (EUR). He holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law (2012) from the Erasmus School of Law (EUR) and a MSc. in Economics (cum laude, 2009) from the Erasmus School of Economics (EUR).

Sander works on his research project ‘Career Concerns in Committees: An Experimental Analysis’ and he expects to defend his PhD thesis in August 2014. Supervisor is TI general director and fellow Bauke Visser. His main research interests include auctions, experimental economics, industrial organization, law and economics, organizational economics, and public economics.
