Empirical Microeconomics
Empirical microeconomics focuses on applied research in labor, health, education, crime, family, and development economics. The focus is on explaining individual behavior and evaluating public policy using a broad range of microeconometric techniques. The aim is to estimate causal effects achieved by credible identification using large administrative datasets or carefully designed and executed randomized experiments.
