Abstract:

In this seminar, Prof. Wang will provide an overview of her research projects and share her interests and insights into advancing behavioral studies within the context of urban development, especially the usage of dockless shared bicycles, private cars, urban subways, and electricity use. She will introduce: 1) Utilize big data to explore the behavior patterns in traveling and energy use. 2) Conduct field experiments to test effective interventions for encouraging sustainable behavior. 3) Evaluate current transportation demand management policies. She aims to make contributions to sustainable practices in making urban development greener and making human life better.
