Macroeconomics
Modern Macroeconomics is firmly grounded in the principles of economic theory and allows for heterogeneity, frictions and incomplete markets. A lot of the research is quantitative and uses micro data. Specific topics include: optimal taxation with climate change, public and private insurance with information frictions, understanding the implications of wage rigidities and labor market sorting.
