Robin Lumsdaine appointed as a member to the Scientific Advisory Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board

Research fellow Robin Lumsdaine (Erasmus University Rotterdam), has been appointed for four years as a member to the Advisory Scientific Committee (ASC) at the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB), starting in May 2023.

The task of ASC academics is to give research input and advise the general ESRB assembly (all ECB central bank governors and bank supervisors) on systemic risk matters four times a year.

Robin Lumsdaine, obtained her PhD at Harvard University, and is a Professor at American University’s Kogod School of Business where she holds the Crown Prince of Bahrain Chair in International Finance. Since 2016 she is also Professor of Applied Econometrics at Erasmus School of Economics through a cooperative arrangement with American University.
