Placement Mareen Bastiaans: European University Viadrina

Mareen is currently a PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam under the supervision of TI research fellows Anne Gielen and Robert Dur. She holds a Research Master degree in Economics from Tinbergen Institute (2019).

Mareen is an applied microeconomist with research interests in the fields of Labor Economics, Family Economics and Health Economics. Her current research focus on the effects of public policies and external shocks on labor market outcomes and mental health, and the spillover effects of this on the next generation.
