Placement Daniel Schmidt: De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB)

Daniel Schmidt will join De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) as a Housing Market Research Economist in September 2025.

He is currently a PhD student in Economics at the University of Amsterdam, supervised by Research Fellows Marcelo Pedroni and Roel Beetsma. His research focuses on macroeconomics, financial economics, and housing markets, with expertise in heterogeneous agent models and microdata analysis.

Currently, Daniel is a PhD trainee at the European Central Bank (ECB) in the Directorate General Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability.
