Placement Lisa Timm: Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER)

Lisa earned her Research Master's in Economics from Tinbergen Institute in 2021 before starting a PhD at the University of Amsterdam. She is supervised by Paul Muller (Vrije University) and Massimo Giuliodori (University of Amsterdam).

In her Job Market Paper, Lisa examines the effect of multinational firms on local labour market. Beyond that, she researches the determinants and consequences of (high-skilled) migration, using detailed administrative data from the Netherlands.
