The new academic year has started
With the start of the new academic year, we have welcomed a new cohort of 36 students to our research master’s programs. The successful accreditation in June provides fresh energy to further strengthen and advance these programs, in close collaboration with all our teachers and supervisors, who already did an excellent job over the past year.
A new academic year also means that an earlier cohort of talented students completed our research master’s programs. We are proud to see them continue their academic journey as PhD students often at one of our associated schools, and we look forward to welcoming them into our community in their new role.
This year also brings a major change: Tinbergen Institute will move to a new location in Amsterdam. After 15 years in the Symphony Building on the Zuidas, we look forward to joining the academic environment of the Amsterdam School of Economics in the E-building on Roeterstraat. We will celebrate this move together during an opening event in the Spring.
The past academic year concluded with eight excellent Summer Courses. These courses were very well received by international graduate students and professionals. Alongside our seminars, workshops, and conferences, the Summer Courses strengthened the international reputation of Tinbergen Institute and Business Data Science. We warmly invite everyone to continue attending and contributing to our events in the coming year.
