Luca received a PhD in Economics in 2023 from the University of Bonn, Germany.

His research examines determinants and consequences of individual decision-making, with a specific focus on financial and moral decision-making.

Methodologically, he uses laboratory experiments, online experiments, surveys, linked survey-administrative data, and field experiments.
