Fellow Cars Hommes receives Wim Duisenberg Research Fellowship

Fellow Cars Hommes (University of Amsterdam) has received the Wim Duisenberg Research Fellowship from the European Central Bank (ECB).

The Fellowship allows recipients to conduct policy-related economics research within the Directorate General Research of the ECB. The title of his research proposal is Behavioral & Experimental Macroeconomics and Policy Implications. In his proposal, Hommes stated that the research examines a new behavioural approach to policy analysis and aims to “develop and discuss with researchers and policy makers at the ECB how this alternative approach can be used and incorporated into more standard financial-macroeconomics models for policy analysis.”

He will conduct research at the ECB from December 2017 through March 2018. Read more about this fellowship on the website of the University of Amsterdam.
