Inaugural lecture Vladimir Vladimirov
On Thursday, September 24, 2026 research fellow Vladimir Vladimirov will publicly accept his appointment as Professor of Finance at the University of Amsterdam. His inaugural lecture is entitled 'Finance in a Changing World'.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 16:30 in the Aula of the University of Amsterdam, Singel 411. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
Vladimir's main research is at the intersection between corporate finance and applied contract theory with an emphasis on the strategic interactions among firms, investors, and the agents working for them. The main applications focus on optimal financing and liquidity policies and corporate governance.
