Placement Zhenzhen Fan: Nankai University, China

PhD student Zhenzhen Fan has accepted a position as assistant professor at the School of Finance of Nankai University in Tianjin, China.

Zhenzhen is currently a PhD candidate in actuarial science and mathematical finance at the Quantitative Economics Department at the University of Amsterdam, under the supervision of TI alumnus Roger Laeven. She holds a cum laude MSc in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science (2011) from Tilburg University.

In 2011-2012, Zhenzhen completed a tailor-made one-year MPhil program, consisting of selected courses from Tinbergen Institute and the Stochastics and Financial Mathematics program at the University of Amsterdam. Zhenzhen is a junior fellow at the Risk and Macro Finance Center at the University of Amsterdam.
