Fellow Peter Wakker receives honorary degree of University St. Gallen

On 21 May 2016 TI fellow Peter Wakker received an honorary doctorate from the University St. Gallen. With this honorary degree the Swiss university, in particular the School of Economics and Political Science (SEPS-HSG) expressed its appreciation for his contributions to the field of behavioral economics.

The research of Peter Wakker focuses primarily on the differences between normative and descriptive decisions, and on decisions under risk and uncertainty.

The honorary doctorate follows the Frank P. Ramsey Medal, the highest recognition of the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society (DPS), which Peter Wakker received in 2013.
