Fellow Aico van Vuuren appointed Full Professor at University of Gothenburg

TI fellow Aico van Vuuren will become a full professor at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) as of September 1, 2015.

 

Aico van Vuuren has been a TI fellow and an associate professor in economics since 2009 at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the VU University Amsterdam. Aico is a TI alumnus, having received his PhD in economics in 2002, entitled ‘Empirical analysis of job search using novel types of data’ at the VU. Supervisor was TI fellow Gerard van den Berg.

He has been co-organizer of the TI labor and applied microeconometrics seminars since 2010. Aico published in the leading journals in economics, including Econometrica (2014), the Review of Economics Studies (2010) and the European Economic Review (2009).
