Menkveld and Yueshen win CICF Best Paper Award

TI fellow Albert Menkveld and TI alumnus Bart Zhou Yueshen (co-authored with Haoxiang Zhu, MIT) won the TCW Best Paper Award in this year’s China International Conference in Finance (CICF) for their paper “Shades of Darkness: A Pecking Order of Trading Venues.” The award is sponsored by the Trust Company of the West and comes with an amount of $2,500.

The China International Conference in Finance (CICF) provides an open platform to bring together scholars worldwide to present current research and stimulate exchanges on new developments in finance. CICF has grown to be one of the leading conferences in finance in the world. The 2015 CICF will be held from July 9 to July 12, 2015 in Shenzhen, China. Founding organizers are Sloan School of Management, MIT and the China Center for Financial Research (CCFR), Tsinghua University.
