Domenico Massaro Awarded Joop Hartog Thesis prize

The annual Joop Hartog Dissertation Prize has been awarded to TI fellow Domenico Massaro for his PhD thesis entitled ‘Bounded Rationality and Heterogeneous Expectations in Macroeconomics’.

The jury (professor Joop Hartog, professor Henk Jager and professor Rob Kaas) lauded the ingenuity of Domenico’s thesis: a combination of a theoretical approach, empirical analysis and laboratory experiments. Domenico also received an award of € 2,500.

The Joop Hartog thesis prize is awarded to the best PhD thesis of the past year at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Amsterdam (UvA), in honor of TI fellow Joop Hartog, professor emeritus of microeconomics. Domenico Massaro is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Nonlinear Dynamics in Economics and Finance (CenDEF) of the University of Amsterdam.
