Placement Xinying Fu: Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Xinying Fu on her new position as post-doctoral researcher on private road pricing at the spatial economics department of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Xinying is an alumnus of the TI MPhil program (2010) and a PhD candidate at the economics department at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Xinying works on airline overbooking and private road pricing. Her main research interests lie at the intersection of industrial organization and transport economics.

Xinying will defend her PhD thesis in the second half of 2014. Supervisors are TI research fellows Pieter Gautier and Erik Verhoef (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
