Placement Gosia Poplawska: University of Oxford

PhD student Gosia Poplawska on her new position as postdoctoral research officer at the Center for Health Service Economics & Organisation (CHSEO) at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. The position is jointly at the Department of Economics and Department of Primary Care. Gosia will be affiliated with Nuffield College.

Gosia is an alumnus of the TI MPhil program (2010) and a PhD candidate in economics at the VU University Amsterdam. She also holds a MSc in Econometrics (2008, cum laude) from Warsaw School of Economics, Poland.

Gosia’s main research interests include applied microeconomics and microeconometrics, with applications to insurance, health economics and development economics. She will defend his PhD thesis in the second half of 2014. Supervisor is fellow Pieter Gautier.
