Marius Zoican wins Outstanding Paper in Investments Award

“Need for Speed. Exchange Latency and Market Quality”, by Marius Zoican won the ‘Outstanding Paper in Investments award’ at the Eastern Finance Association Conference in Pittsburgh, United States.

Marius is a PhD student in financial economics at VU Amsterdam. His PhD thesis focuses on the economic impact of recent and proposed changes on market infrastructure, in the aftermath of the recent financial crisis, and is supervised by TI fellow Albert Menkveld. He is currently a visiting PhD researcher at Toulouse School of Economics in France.
