Natalya Martynova wins IFABS Award

PhD student Natalya Martynova won the award for best doctoral paper at the 6th conference of the International Finance and Banking Society (IFABS), held in Lisbon, Portugal from 18 to 20 June 2014. Natalya received the prize for her job market paper “Internal Asset Transfers and Risk Taking in Financial Conglomerates”.  It was the second IFABS best PhD paper award in 3 years for Natalya.

The IFABS 2014 conference was jointly organized by the ISCTE Business School, ISCTE-IUL Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, University of Leicester School of Management, Cass Business School, City University and University of Molise in Lisbon. The IFABS conference theme was “Alternative Futures for Global Banking: Competition, Regulation and Reform”.
