NWO Research Talent Grants for Three TI Students

TI MPhil students Sabina Albrecht, Joep Lustenhouwer and Yajie Sun have been awarded three-year grants by NWO Research Talent Program (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research) to fund their PhD projects.

NWO awarded the PhD projects applications submitted by fellow Hessel Oosterbeek (University of Amsterdam) for Sabina’s project entitled “An international comparison of inequality in earnings and skill distributions”, by Cars Hommes (University of Amsterdam) for Joep’s project on “Monetary and fiscal policy under bounded rationality and heterogeneous expectations” and by Jose Luis Moraga (VU Amsterdam) for Yajie’s project on “Consumer Search, Quality Provision and the Efficiency of Frictional Markets”.

In the 2014 Research Talent round NWO received a total of 132 applications and awarded 35 PhD projects with a grant. Click here to read all awarded applications.
