Placement Alexandra Rusu: European Commission

Alexandra Rusu, PhD student at Erasmus University Rotterdam, has accepted a policy position at European Commission’s DG Taxation and Customs Union (TAXUD).

Alexandra finished her MPhil in Economics at Tinbergen Institute in 2013, after which she started a PhD at Erasmus University Rotterdam, supervised by fellow Bas Jacobs.  Her research interest lies in public economics, public procurement, and corruptions. She focuses on taxation and especially on optimal capital income taxation. Find more information on her personal website.
