Placement Sílvia Garcia-Mandicó: Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

Sílvia Garcia-Mandicó, PhD Candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam, has accepted a Labor Economist position at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Silvia finished her M.Phil. in Economics at Tinbergen Institute in 2015. She started a Ph.D. at Erasmus University Rotterdam, under the supervision of fellows Owen O'Donnell and Pilar Garcia-Gomez. Her reserach  fields are applied microeconometrics, labor, health and development. In her PhD dissertation, she has analyzed the impact of social insurance on labor supply of insured individuals and their families, both in developed and developing countries.
