Vidi Grant Awarded to TI Fellows Francisco Blasques, Shaul Shalvi, Jan Stoop and TI Alumnus Nalan Baștürk

TI Fellows Francisco Blasques (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Shaul Shalvi (University of Amsterdam), Jan Stoop (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and TI alumnus Nalan Baștürk (Maastricht University) have won a Vidi grant.

Vidi Grant Awarded to TI Fellows Francisco Blasques, Shaul Shalvi, Jan Stoop and TI Alumnus Nalan Baștürk

The Dutch Research Council (NWO) has awarded an annual grant worth 800,000 euro to enable 85 experienced researchers develop their own innovative line of research and set up their own research group.

TI fellows have received the grant for the following research projects: 'Econometric methods for incorrect models' (Francisco Blasques), 'Measuring poverty with envelopes' (Jan Stoop), 'Sharing responsibly on the on-demand economy' (Shaul Shalvi). TI alumnus Nalan Baștürk (Maastricht University) has been awarded for the research on 'Novel data-driven approaches for depression analysis'.
