Interview with Fatih Guvenen Published in Times

Interview with Faith Guvenen has been published in Times, TI online magazine. Fatih Guvenen taught the 2019 Tinbergen Institute Economics Lectures on June 11-13 on the New Insights from Big Data into Inequality and Risk.

Interview with Fatih Guvenen Published in Times

Guvenen is the Curtis L. Carlson professor of economics at the University of Minnesota and a research associate in the NBER’s Economic Fluctuations and Growth Program. His research focuses on different types of economic inequality and economic risks, and how these interact with the macroeconomy and government policies.

The interview was conducted by Huyen Nguyen, PhD Candidate at Erasmus School of Economics (Eramus University Rotterdam) and TI alumna. They discussed a diverse range of topics in inequality, including intergenerational mobility, gender gap, income across disciplines.
