Placement Agnieszka Borowska: University of Glasgow, United Kingdom

Agnieszka Borowska, PhD student at VU Amsterdam, has accepted a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Agnieszka will be working on statistical inference at the School of Mathematics & Statistics of Glasgow University.

Agnieszka finished the TI MPhil program with a major in econometrics in 2015 and then started a PhD at the VU Amsterdam under supervision of fellows Siem Jan Koopman and Lennart Hoogerheide. Her main research interests are Bayesian methods, Time series analysis, State space models, and Sequential Monte Carlo.
