Application Open to Attend Innovation Growth Lab PhD Workshop

On Wednesday November 20, the Innovation Growth Lab PhD Workshop of 2019 will take place at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Focusing on field experiments on entrepreneurship, innovation and productivity, the workshop is intended to help PhD students and postdoctoral researchers develop the trial design tailored to their own research question.

Application Open to Attend Innovation Growth Lab PhD Workshop

The annual workshop is organized by IGL and this year is co-hosted by TI. Participants will learn about the latest experimental research on science, innovation, entrepreneurship and business productivity, and will be guided through the process of developing their own trial design to answer a research question in one of these areas.

Visit the IGL website to see the preliminary program and to find more about the workshop.

If you wish to attend the workshop, submit your application via this form.

The PhD Workshop is linked to the IGL Winter Research Meeting taking place at the VU the following day, on Thursday November 21. The meeting showcases academic research that uses experimental methods to explore the drivers of innovation, entrepreneurship and business productivity, and to inform policies aimed at accelerating growth in these areas.

For more information about the program and application, visit the IGL Winter Research Meeting webpage.

If you wish to attend both events, please note that you need to register separately for each day.

IGL is a global collaboration powered by Nesta, a London-based innovation foundation. IGL aims to enable, support, undertake and disseminate high impact research that uses RCTs to improve the design of the programmes and institutions that help make the economies more innovative and entrepreneurial.
