New Candidate Fellow: Thomas Douenne

His main research field is Environmental Economics, which he approaches through both theoretical and empirical methods. In particular, he has studied the economic consequences of environmental disasters, the distributive effects of carbon taxation, and more recently the public support for climate policies. The ultimate goal of his research is to understand and find solutions to overcome the obstacles to the implementation of ambitious and effective environmental policies.
