On October 11, the 2021 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2021 was awarded to:
David Card (for one half), "for his empirical contributions to labour economics";
Joshua D. Angrist and Guido W. Imbens jointly (for the other half), "for their methodological contributions to the analysis of causal relationships."
We congratulate the winners with this great achievement. Both David Card and Guido Imbens taught in the Tinbergen Institute Lecture series, an annual 3-day series of lectures in Economics and Econometrics for graduate students in the Tinbergen Institute Research Master program. Read here the interview we had with Guido Imbens in 2018.
