Placement Swapnil Singh: Bank of Lithuania

PhD student Swapnil Singh has accepted a position as Junior Researcher at the Bank of Lithuania and the Kaunas University of Technology.

The Junior Researcher program at the Bank of Lithuania, CEFER, is a program committed towards excellent research in economics and finance. It provides young graduates the opportunity as well as ample resources  to conduct independent research.

Swapnil is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at Amsterdam School of Economics, University of Amsterdam, under the supervision of fellows Roel Beetsma and Christian Stoltenberg. He is an alumnus of the TI MPhil program (2013). His research interests lie in the areas of consumption and income inequality, incomplete markets, and monetary policy.
