Placement Stephanie Chan: Xiamen University

PhD student Stephanie Chan has accepted a joint tenure-track assistant professorship at the Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics, and School of Economics, at Xiamen University (XMU) in China. Xiamen University is a public university and belongs to the top ranked universities for economics in China.

Stephanie is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at Amsterdam School of Economics, University of Amsterdam, under the supervision of Sweder van Wijnbergen. She is an alumnus of the TI MPhil program (2013). Her research interests are banking, financial regulation, and microfinance.
