Biography

Xiaoyu Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She obtained her PhD in Finance from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2019. Her research interests are empirical corporate finance and corporate governance. In particular, she is interested in topics like product market competition, bank loans, IPOs, and CSR.
