Her research interests include disclosure and regulation. Her work contributes to our understanding of disclosure as both a communication tool and a strategic choice given institutional and informational frictions.

In her job market paper titled “Substantive regulation and voluntary public disclosure: Early Evidence from the EU AI Act”, Stephanie investigates whether firms adjust their voluntary disclosure in anticipation of the EU AI Act, a regulation that provides a framework surrounding firm’s AI activities.
