Biography
Zichen Deng is an Assistant Professor at the Amsterdam School of Economics, University of Amsterdam. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute. His research interests lie in applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on environmental economics, health, and development. His recent projects examine the consequences of cloud seeding in China and the effects of expanding paid partner leave in the Netherlands.
