Placement Riccardo Silvestrini: University of Naples Federico II and CSEF

In September, Riccardo Silvestrini will start as a Postdoc at the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Naples Federico II, and as a Research Fellow at the CSEF, Italy.

Riccardo holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam and defended his thesis "On the Importance of Firm Heterogeneity, Business Dynamism, and Market Power Dynamics in the Macroeconomy" in June 2024. He was supervised by research fellows Agnieszka Markiewicz and Casper de Vries.

He is especially interested in macroeconomics, firm dynamics and industrial organization. Riccardo holds a research master degree in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute (2019). Click here to visit Riccardo’s personal website for more information.
