Placement Yang Zhong: University of Warwick

Yang Zhong, a PhD student at the University of Amsterdam, will join the CAGE research centre at the Department of Economics, at the University of Warwick, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, starting in October 2025.

Placement Yang Zhong: University of Warwick

Yang earned her Research Master's in Economics from Tinbergen Institute in 2020 before starting a PhD at the University of Amsterdam. She is supervised by Thomas Buser (University of Amsterdam) and Hessel Oosterbeek (University of Amsterdam).

In her research, Yang uses experimental and empirical methods to study challenges individuals face in professional and educational settings. She develops methods to measure preferences for facing these challenges, as well as the ability to handle them, and validate these methods using both experimental and survey data.
