Placement Julius Ilciukas: Chinese University of Hong Kong

Julius Ilciukas, a PhD student at the University of Amsterdam, will join the Department of Economics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor, starting in August 2025.

Placement Julius Ilciukas: Chinese University of Hong Kong

Julius earned his Research Master's in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute before beginning his PhD at the University of Amsterdam. He is supervised by Erik Plug (University of Amsterdam) and Bas van der Klaauw (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).

His research is in empirical microeconomics, with a focus on labor, family economics, and applied microeconometrics.
