Research fellow Cars Hommes, professor of Economic Dynamics and director of CenDEF, announced his latest book, Behavioral Rationality and Heterogeneous Expectations in Complex Economic Systems, published by Cambridge University Press.

The book presents a theory of behavioral rationality and heterogeneous expectations in complex economic systems and confronts the nonlinear dynamic models with empirical stylized facts and laboratory experiments.
