Biography

Jesse Hemerik studied mathematics in Leiden and obtained a PhD in statistics at the Leiden University Medical center. He received the Van Zwet award from the Dutch statistical society for the best PhD thesis on statistics or operations research. His research interests are non-parametric statistical inference, high-dimensional inference and various application areas.
