Tim Oosterwijk
Biography
Tim Oosterwijk obtained his PhD in Operations Research at Maastricht University in 2018 and is now assistant professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research is fundamental in nature but is driven by problems observed in practice that suffer from a lack of coordination or resource limitations. His main research areas are algorithmic game theory, algorithmic mechanism design, optimization under uncertainty and approximation algorithms.
