Placement Dieter Wang: The World Bank

Dieter Wang has started earlier this month as a full-time staff member of the World Bank, where he had been research consultant since 2018. At the Long-Term Finance team, he will continue his research on sustainable finance, natural capital, government bonds and sovereign ESG.

Placement Dieter Wang: The World Bank

Dieter is a TI research master graduate (2016) and a PhD candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam under the supervision of research fellows Iman van Lelyveld and Julia Schaumburg. His research interests include sustainable finance, bond pricing, financial contagion as well as dynamic factor models, nonlinear state-space models and sequential Monte Carlo methods. During his PhD he held visiting positions at the Dutch Central Bank and Columbia Business School. Dieter will defend his thesis on May 3, 2021 at 13:45.
