New Candidate Fellow: Martijn de Vries

Martijn de Vries is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam who specializes in behavioral finance or financial decision making. 

New Candidate Fellow: Martijn de Vries

In his research, Martijn analyzes the role of non-standard beliefs and preferences for understanding both investor behavior and the dynamics of financial markets. This includes ambiguity aversion, risk seeking behavior and limited attention.

Additionally, Martijn is a research fellow at the network for studies on pensions, aging and retirement (Netspar). In his work for Netspar, he applies the insights of financial decision making theory to improve pension investments.
