David Veenman reappointed as editor of The Accounting Review

Research fellow David Veenman (University of Amsterdam) has been reappointed as Editor of the prestigious journal The Accounting Review.

David Veenman reappointed as editor of The Accounting Review

Veenman’s areas of expertise include financial reporting, security analysis, and insider trading. As a member of the team of Editors for this academic journal, he will review and decide on the publication potential of the latest research in the field of accounting. His reappointment term officially starts on June 1, 2023, and will run for a period of 3 years. 

The Accounting Review covers a wide range research related to accounting, including cutting-edge research topics such as corporate accountability, environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting, fraud detection using AI, transparency, anti-corruption regulations, and diversity in management teams. It is one of the leading academic accounting journals and is the flagship journal of the American Accounting Association (AAA).
